Responsible Minerals Policy
WithWave is committed to the responsible sourcing of minerals and to supporting the aims and objectives of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and related regulations. We strive to ensure that our products do not contain Conflict Minerals-specifically tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG)-that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries.
Our commitments include:
1. Supply Chain Due Diligence
We conduct reasonable due diligence on our supply chain to determine the origin of 3TG used in our products,
in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict- Affected and High-Risk Areas.
2. Supplier Requirements
We require our suppliers to source 3TG only from smelters and refiners that are verified by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) or equivalent recognized programs.
3. Transparency
We expect suppliers to complete the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding the sourcing of 3TG.
4. Continuous Improvement
We work with suppliers to address any non-conformance and encourage the adoption of responsible sourcing practices throughout the supply chain.
